Rain Feature

I shot this photo over week ago in Aztec, N.M.,  when the weather in the Four Corners area was experiencing nothing but rain and mugginess (if you closed your eyes and smelled the burning wood or trash in the air you'd think you were in South East Asia during the early monsoon season.) Since taking this photo the weather here in Farmington has cooled off significantly, from mid 90s to about low to mid 80s (If you closed you're eyes and imagine smelling the sweat air of the ocean you'd think you were back on the Oxnard-Ventura-Santa Barbara coast.)

Soon after taking this photo, I received a text from my editor to run down to Farmington High School to cover a school stabbing. The weather at the scene had gone from monsoonal type rain to sunny dry and warm.

So the point of this story is that there is no point. But all I can say is that after that day everything has been cool, sunny and fun. I love cooler weather.
