ATV Adventures in Blanding, Utah's Recapture Canyon.

Last month I picked up an assignment from The Daily. I got the chance to follow a group of senior ATV riders who have been branded as outlaws by the federal government and outside nature conservationist. Their only crime is that they love to ride their ATV's through federal land.  Basically they told me they are too old to hike and enjoy the trials like they used to and need the ATVs to get around the rugged trails.  Recapture Canyon is littered with Anasazi artifacts and outsiders (basically tree hugging hippy city folk Washington DC type people who don't even live in the state of Utah) want to protect these trails by closing it off to motorized vehicles. They are currently trying to change the the federal laws because they believe it doesn't fit the local needs.
